Reminiscence

J’explore ici l’imagerie romantique de souvenirs contenus dans les lieux abandonnés.
So many questions come to mind at the sight of these remains that nature is gradually covering over.
I'm particularly interested in the figure of childhood, contrasted with contemporary ruin.
I try to capture the essence of a memory, in a journey through time and space.
It's a call to preserve the candour within us, as well as that of future generations.

Reality
transfigured

I've always wanted to reveal things that are hidden beyond appearances.
To inspire the fascination we feel when confronted with something that is beyond us and distorts our perception of reality.
Like a hymn to the unknown, a call to re-enchant the world.

To express my innermost fibre, on the borderline between romanticism and symbolism.
Injecting mystery and fantasy into everyday life, which is perceived as too prosaic, to sublimate it.
To bring to light a transfigured reality as I feel it, bittersweet.

Fragments

These small-scale works allow me to express the ideas for staging that come to me during the long process of creating the large formats.
At the same time, I get to experiment with new techniques that I can use on future compositions.
These works are part of my Reminiscene and Transfigured Reality series.
